Pearl: pure elegance (part IV)
Some tips
In these days, while I was writing this final article about the pearl, I followed with keen interest the Milan Fashion Week.
Lost in the modern and elegant brilliance of the new collections as well as in the appealing reports of fashion bloggers, I decided to give you some style tips related to our gem.
It has always been a jewel linked to the bourgeois tradition, often exemplified by the icy and old fashioned picture of the bon ton twinset worn with a white strand of pearls. But now it is time to quit this boring image worthy of Mad Man or Desperate Housewives movie sets.
As I told you, pearls contain a far more glamorous and warm world, just like the Caribbean waters in which they grow.
This mood was sensed by the irreverent fashion of the years between the two World Wars.
For that reason I like to resume this bold and creative spirit, covering the ‘ladies of the sea’ with modernity, allowing them to follow the frantic and practical everyday life of the new millennium women.
My faithful customers have welcomed this way of thinking, sharing my passion for the irregularity of baroque pearls, for the unique forms of the small Keshi, for the light of the Freshwater and the infinite shades of gray, chocolate and gold.
Suspended or embraced by burnished silver threads or by red gold, their variety is wide enough to complete any outfit.
Are the seasonal hairstyle trends recommending once again the ‘bob’ (‘carré‘ for the French)?
I propose to enhance it with the lively and sinuous line of earrings with a bright gold pearl in the end.
If for the coolest nails a ‘naked look’ or a ‘moon manicure’ are mandatory, I suggest you to overstate them with bold sizes of rings and pearls. A huge baroque pearl embedded on red gold will not make you go unnoticed!
Believe me, no matter your age or the value of the pearl you wear, it is the creativity of jewels that will speak for your uniqueness and make you look special.
As usual, I wait for you in my boutique to suggest you the perfect choice to fit your colors and your style.
See you soon!
Yours Fiorenza
